Our twice/wk throwing and strength program is designed to give pitchers the opportunity to receive specialized training that aims to improve all areas of pitching. Our players will go through a comprehensive program that stresses the importance of movement patterns, arm care, and stretching, to improve body control, velocity, and command on the mound.
There are two sessions in this class that are structured to build up our athletes for the High School season in March.That being said, this class is only 2 days/wk and if you want to see the full results, you will be required work outside the class, specifically in the weight room.
In Session 1, players will work on proper movement patterns, arm care, and flat-ground velocity development to properly prepare their bodies for the second session.
In Session 2, players will ramp up the intent of their drill work and transition to long toss, on-mound development, pitch crafting, and more. Players will leave this class physically and mentally ready to take on the long Spring High School Season and Summer Club Season!
Players are not required to, but are highly encouraged to attend both sessions to properly prepare for the season.
